TOP COW ANNOUNCES NEW COMIC EPISODE

Top Cow, the paperback warriors of the Tomb Raider universe, announces the release of a new episode from the best selling Lara Croft comic book series. Tomb Raider #31, which pits our intrepid British heroine against another batch of evil adversaries bent on toppling the diva from her pedestal, is written by John Ney Reiber, penned by Pop Mhan, inked by Jonathan Sibal and colored by Jonathan D. Smith.

GAME HINT TAKES EIDOS TO NEW LEVEL

Rumours that Eidos will release Republic, its long-awaited strategy game, before the end of this month enabled the software publisher to reverse the recent slide in its shares. Most attention on Eidos has recently focused on the prospects for the new Lara Croft title, Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, which finally goes on sale next Friday. But Republic proved the talking point yesterday of industry gossip that the title will be released on June 27.

KORN TO PERFORM IN TOMB RAIDER SEQUEL

U.S. band Korn have recorded a brand new track for the forthcoming Paramount Pictures action adventure sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life starring Oscar winner Angelina Jolie as British aristocrat Lara Croft. The new track, titled Did My Time will be used in a scene in the movie, but won't appear on the motion picture soundtrack album. Radio stations will begin broadcasting Did My Time across the airwaves June 23, ahead of the official Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life launch on July 25th.
