ANGELINA WANTS TO ADOPT SECOND CHILD

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, taking a break from shooting her latest film to visit a refugee camp on the Thai-Myanmar border, said Sunday she would love to adopt another child. Jolie, who went to the camp as part of her work for the U.N. High Commission for Refugees adopted a young Cambodian boy with her actor-husband, Billy Bob Thornton, in March after shooting the action film Tomb Raider in neighboring Cambodia.

EIDOS GETS FRESH WITH LEGAIA 2 SEGA

While Sony itself obviously considered a US and European launch for role-player Legaia 2: Duel Saga, developed by SCE Japan, Eidos clearly disagrees - it's doing just that, hoping to attract a few die-hard RPG fans along the way. Eidos has promised to localise the game for Europe, which will also involve translating the Japanese dialogue as well as text.

EIDOS ANNOUNCES TIMESPLITTERS 2 GAME

Free Radical Design, developer of the highly successful and critically acclaimed PlayStation 2 launch title TimeSplitters, announces TimeSplitters 2 on PlayStation 2, to be published by Eidos Interactive. TimeSplitters 2 will improve on the original in every conceivable way. The game offers a more involving single player and co-operative story mode, featuring a complex narrative with multiple objective-based episodes and superbly animated cut-scenes.

DIGITAL LARA CROFT COMES TO LIFE AT E3

Eidos Interactive and Core Design announced today that Lara Croft, character of one of the 1 billion dollar game franchise, will mark her public debut at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on May 22. Croft, who has previously been portrayed by models Rhona Mitra, Nell McAndrew, Lara Weller, Lucy Clarkson, Jill de Jong and actress Angelina Jolie, will make several appearances on the expo floor answering questions from the audience and talking about her newest adventure Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
