ANGELINA JOLIE BEGINS KENYAN SHOOTING

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie and Co. has assembled in Kenya to continue shooting Paramount Pictures Tomb Raider movie sequel The Cradle of Life, All Africa reports today. A local film crew bundled into a mini-bus Tuesday morning and drove to Naivasha, situated one hour outside the capital Nairobi, to prep the area for the later arrival of Angelina Jolie - donning hot-pants and pistols for her second foray as British archeologist Lara Croft - and her supporting cast.

WALES SCRAPS NEW STUDIO OBJECTIONS

The Welsh Assembly on Tuesday dropped its objections to plans to build a 300 million-pound (US$450 million) movie studio complex in a deprived area of south Wales. A consortium backed by Sir Richard Attenborough wants to build the ultra-modern complex on 350 acres at Llanilid in south Wales, creating up to 2,000 jobs.
