CHAMP MANAGER 4 RELEASE CONFIRMED

Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, announces that Championship Manager 4, the latest instalment in the record-breaking series of football management computer games, will be released in February 2003 on PC CD. EIDOS ANNOUNCES DELAY ON TWO TITLES

Eidos Plc, one of Europe's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today provides an update on its current trading and release schedule for the financial year to 30 June 2003. Management have today decided to reschedule the release of two key franchise titles - Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness and Championship Manager 4. Both of these games are in the final stages of development and testing and are now scheduled for release in February 2003.

THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS TO RELEASE FEB

Eidos Plc has confirmed Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness will not meet its high-profile November 15 commercial debut on the Sony Playstation II games console and PC CDROM. The London-based publisher has stated the sixth Tomb Raider video-game will be released in February 2003 allowing developers Core Design more time to complete the game.

TOMB HELMER WEST TO DIRECT CAR MOVIE

In a deal worth $1.8 million against $3 million, Columbia Pictures has purchased RPM, a high-octane spec script by Joel Wyman. Simon West, whose action credits include Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Con Air, will direct the film next spring. Wyman will produce with John Baldecchi, with whom he last teamed on The Mexican.

THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS DELAY FEARS

Eidos Plc, the UK-based video-games publisher, is reportedly locked in talks with Sony Entertainment Corp to meet the high-profile November 15th launch date for the upcoming Tomb Raider adventure The Angel Of Darkness. Several gaming factions last week reported that the Japanese console giant has blocked the release until substantive criteria is met. Playable demos tendered to both the E3 and ECTS trade shows earlier this year came under fire from critics who branded the new control system unmanageable.
