EIDOS WINS ANOTHER BAFTA AWARD

The BAFTA Interactive Entertainment awards are proving a happy hunting ground for Eidos and it’s popular range titles. Following on from last years awards ceremony where both Deus Ex and Sydney 2000 won awards for Best PC Game and Best Sports game respectively, Championship Manager 00/01 has won the inaugural Amazon.co.uk Audience Award.

They share the following features, regardless of whether they appear in broadsheets or tabloids; maps with funny little symbols, swooping arrows, menacing pictures of planes, and captions in the present tense. Aircraft fly at 250ft as troops jump rapidly from the rear ramp or Delta Force and Navy Seals drop from helicopters.
