TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD SCREENSHOTS

[ December 14th 2007 ]

A collection of screenshots from Tomb Raider Underworld have begun circulating across the internet. The scenes showcase the immersive and epic environment set to challenge Lara Croft as she traverses the globe like never before in a search to unlock the mystery of the Mayan calendar and to uncover a portal between mortal and underworld.

Crystal Dynamics have developed a brand new engine to carry Lara forth onto Next-Gen consoles including Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The game also courts a hybrid lighting model which combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps to add a further realm of realism to proceedings.

Lara Croft is now full motion capture, rewarding gamers with smooth and fluidic movement with an emphasis on realistic weight distribution and secondary motion. Hop on over to our Tomb Raider Underworld microsite to view more pictures of the game in action.
