Musical mayhem with a hilarious new game from Eidos plc.

PRESS RELEASE

EIDOS ANNOUNCES GET ON DA MIC

Eidos, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today announced it has secured a co-publishing deal with Artificial Mind and Movement for the hip hop music video game Get On Da Mic.

The game is currently in development by A2M in partnership with Highway 1 Productions, Inc. in addition to a second title, Get On Da Floor, an urban, hip hop-centric dance title. Get On Da Mic will be released this fall, and Get On Da Floor will follow shortly thereafter. Both games will be available for the major video game systems.

"Get On Da Mic immerses players in the alluring world of becoming a hip hop celebrity," said Paul Baldwin, Eidos North America's vice president of marketing. "A2M has secured one of the most robust music soundtracks available in any music game featuring over 40 tracks. The game also boasts a non-confining freestyle mode allowing players to show off their lyrical skills and pave their own paths to fame among their friends."

"A2M has found an ideal partner in Eidos, whose expertise in bringing cutting-edge titles to market will truly benefit Get On Da Mic," said Remi Racine, president and chief executive officer of A2M.

Get On Da Mic allows players to live the fantasy resulting from their rap superstardom, embracing the famous excesses of the hip hop lifestyle. Gamers must wow the crowds with their 'dope' rapping style as they go from the street, play "da clubs," record at the studio, shoot the video, and ultimately perform for thousands of fans in order to acquire the fantastic material wealth that comes with unimaginable success. Powerful producers, shady agents, and innumerable groupies line the road to fame.

"We are excited that A2M's remarkable grasp of hip-hop lifestyle and culture has been perfectly matched with Eidos' impressive ability to deliver consumers ground-breaking titles," said Michael Betti, co-founder of Hwy1 Productions.

Get On Da Mic will be showcased in the Eidos' booth at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Eidos will be located at booth #924 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center during the trade show, which runs May 12-14, 2004.
