LARA CROFT TAPS MTV2 MUSIC VIDEO AD

MTV: Music Television today announced the release of Stand and Choose, a non-partisan, animated music video created in cooperation with 12 major computer and video game publishers and featuring more than 50 video game characters encouraging young people to vote in the upcoming Presidential election. The music video will premiere on MTV's TRL and mtvU (MTV's college network), as part of MTV's larger Choose or Lose: 20 Million LOUD campaign, on Wednesday, October 6th.

Eidos has released a new batch of screen shots from Get On Da Mic, the new slammin' all swinging rap video-game from A2M. Sing with the PS2 USB mic to advance your character's career from singing in front of the mirror to playing a packed Madison Square Garden. Along the way, you can play at street parties, sign with an agent, cut albums, and make videos. STUDIO BOSS REBUKES ALEXANDER CLAIM

Hollywood bosses have slammed reports the release of historical epic Alexander has been delayed because the movie is too gay. Reports last week suggested Warner Bros had put back the film's release to November so they could tone down love scenes between Colin Farrell's bisexual Alexander The Great and a Persian eunuch called Bagoas - played by Francisco Bosch.

JAN DE BONT TAPPED FOR SHARK THRILLER

The magic arm to Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life director Jan de Bont has been tapped to helm the big screen adaptation of Steve Alten's shark thriller MEG, according to movie magazine Coming Soon! Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin - who both produced the Tomb Raider motion pictures, are also on board.
