COUNTERFEIT TOMB MOVIE SEQUEL ON SALE

Motion picture studios are warning the influx of counterfeit DVD (digital versatile discs) containing many of this summers major blockbusters is costing the industry £400m per year in lost revenue and according to the Federation Against Copyright Theft, the problem has accelerated dramatically over the past twelve months with one in three units sold in the UK being fake. Copies of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life is already on sale prior to the motion picture being released in the UK on 22nd August.

HAS A BRITISH SCIENTIST FOUND NEFERTITI

While Lara Croft blasts her way through movie theaters, television has its own real-life version of Tomb Raider on the Discovery Channel. Airing tonight at 9, Nefertiti Resurrected tracks an expedition led by University of York scientist Joann Fletcher, a British expert on mummies, into a tomb containing human remains that, she suspects, are those of Nefertiti, the legendary Egyptian queen who died more than 3,000 years ago. If she is correct, she will be credited with the most staggering archaeological find since the discovery of King Tutankhamen.
