LARA CROFT STAR TO PORTRAY FBI AGENT

Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke will star in Warner Bros Taking Lives motion picture based on the book by British author Michael Pye. The film tells the tale of a female FBI agent who enrolls a deranged psycho-killer to solve a horrific murder. Taking Lives is helmed by Four Weddings and a Funeral director Mike Newell and begins shooting in November.

SEGA SIGNS GAME DEAL WITH AUTHOR

Author Michael Crichton, best known for science-fiction tales like The Andromeda Strain and Jurassic Park, on Monday said he would work with Japan's Sega Corp. to develop a new video game targeted for release in 2004. Sega said Crichton will create the property from scratch, working with the company's game developers. No other details of the game were available.
