2000-YEAR-OLD SHOE FOUND IN ENGLAND

British archaeologists have uncovered a 2,000 year old shoe hidden in a hollow tree on a Bronze Age iron-smelting site in Wellington, Southwest England. The tree had been used to construct an ancient waterway at Whiteball Quarry, Associated Press reports.

MIDWAY TIES KNOT WITH EPIC GAMES

Midway Games Inc has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Epic Games giving Midway use of Epic's Unreal Engine 3 technology and tools for next generation console and PC game development. Unreal Engine 3 technology and tools are now in use at Midway's internal studios including: Midway's Chicago studio, the makers of NBA Ballers and the Mortal Kombat franchise; Midway's Austin studio, developers of Area 51; and Surreal Software, the creators of The Suffering.

TOMB RAIDER WINDOW XP INSTALLER

A revised version of the popular windows-based utility for installing, configuring and running the original Tomb Raider on computers loaded with Windows XP has been released by Bokkie from www.tombraiderforums.com.
