Derby City Council recently canvassed the public on possible names for a new road under construction as part of the Connecting Derby scheme, and were not altogether surprised at some of the submissions. According to This Is Derbyshire, Lara Croft and Florence Nightingale were both pitted as possible suitors by members of the public.

Toby Gard may have inadvertently shed light on a recent AAA project advertised by U.S. studio Crystal Dynamics in a recruitment posting. According to Gard's LinkedIn profile, his current position at Crystal Dynamics is 'leading a design group for an unannounced project', quite possibly the very same project that needs staffing.
